Slim Chickens – Liverpool

Another successful passive fire protection project completed by the Firewall team, this time for the new Slim Chickens restaurant in Liverpool.

Firewall was instructed to supply and install a 60-minute fire-rated British Gypsum shaft wall system, together with associated passive fire-stopping works required as part of the restaurant fit-out providing the required level of fire resistance and compartmentation as part of the restaurant fit-out and fire strategy.

All installations were completed in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s tested system details and installation guidelines, ensuring the required level of fire resistance and compartmentation was achieved.

On completion, we issued a comprehensive Passive Fire Register, providing a record of the completed fire-stopping works, together with our Letter of Conformity, confirming that the installation had been carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.

A great project to be involved with and another example of Firewall delivering quality, compliant passive fire protection from installation through to final documentation and handover.
